Masters of the Bullboard 2004 - Welcome and Rules

Good morning everyone and welcome to the inaugural "Masters of the Bullboard 2004" e-tournament.
Through Random Coin-Toss, the following pools have been selected for competition:
Pool A
Pool B
The tournament will progress as follows:
Round 1
Pool A - Rockefeller vs. C. Urbanus
Pool B - Arbiter vs. James Hagherty
Round 2
Pool A - C. Urbanus vs. Jef Halestone
Pool B - James Hagherty vs. custardchuk
Round 3
Pool A - Jef Halestone vs. Rockefeller
Pool B - custardchuk vs. Arbiter
After three rounds, the competitor from each pool with the lowest win-loss record will be eliminated (in the event of a three way tie, the competitor with the highest winning throw percentage will advance and the two remainders will play a sudden death match).
From this point the competition will be direct elimination
Semifinals
Pool A (Highest Seed) vs. Pool B (Lowest Seed)
Pool B (Highest Seed) vs. Pool A (Lowest Seed)
Finals
Semifinal Victor vs. Semifinal Victor
Each match in the tournament will be a "Best of 5 of 5" (three throws take a set, three sets take a match), and an entire set of throws will be submitted as a minimum each e-mail submission.
At the moment, we will not impose a time limit on throw submissions, given the coming holidays, however, as each round will not commence until the previous one is finished - the officials reserve the right to implement a time restriction period if they feel the tournament is bogging down.
Each match will have it's own thread with the match resolving in the first post. Due to the nature of the "latest posts first" system used by th e Bullboard, I would appreciate it if you would attempt to keep commentary on matches in progress TO A SEPARATE THREAD, so the match itself doesn't end up buried several pages down (or until Marty figures out if I can "lock" threads from comment).
Competitors, please check your Bullboard personal messengers for information on how to e-mail your entries.
Best of luck to all competitors, and good throws to you all. I expect to see some exceptionally high level play. Let's get it on!

Why does James play in all three rounds, while Jef only plays in round 2?
Is this correct?

As James is in pool "B" it is indeed Jef who plays in the third round "A" pool match.
Apologies for the typo.
