I know it's more than a little early, but I was wondering if there is an estimated time-frame for the World Championships yet?  It's usually in October, correct?

I'm hoping it does not conflict with another event I hope to attend in October (that also does not have a set date) - the Gorilla Suit Making Workshop in West Chester, PA.  If the fates smile upon me, the gorilla suit workshop will be a week or two before the World Championships.  But life being what it is, I can almost guarantee they are the same day...

You sure about that date Hallestone?  I don't want a repeat of 2006.

That's just a 2007 poster with "2007"" scribbled out and "2008" written over the top.

I think we can safely say that it's more Hallestone than Hagherty.

I dropped in to see how everyone is doing, and this thread caught my attention.

As some of you may know, I've never made it to Toronto for the Championships. You may also remember that I'm a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan. How crazy am I? Well, last year when the Fins were winless I decided to get a huge tattoo on my right leg shin. I got the Fins logo. The next day they won their only game of the year vs. the Ravens.

But I digress... October 26th the Dolphins will play the hated buffalo bills in Toronto. Why? Because buffalo is such a depressed dump they can no longer host home games and need to draw fans from Toronto.

I'm wondering if this is possible financially, but I would love to come up and compete in the World Championships then go to game.

I'll look into this. If anyone here has a spare ticket to the game and wants to sell it for a very reasonable price to me, pm me.

p.s. I'm going to be in Pittsburgh next week. I'm a finalist for the #1 sales rep in the U.S.A. in my company. Wish me luck. There's an awards dinner next Wednesday.

My mistake. I misread the schedule.

October 26th, the bills come to Miami.

I would still love to make it up to Toronto. I may look into flights and discuss babysitter options with my wife so she could come too.

I think you're all missing the most important part of this information.  It means I can possibly go to both the World RPS Championships AND the Gorilla Suit Making Workshop.  I might just have something nice to wear to the Championships after all...

Yes, hopefully you'll be wearing the title of Philadelphia City League Champion.

Rockefeller,

Good to see you pop in.  Glad to see that you're as successful at sales as you are RPS.  If possible, you should by all means come to Toronto.  And I can tell you that Canada doesn't have any of those annoying local market rules to worry about when it comes to the NFL.  You can catch pretty much every game on TV including your beloved Dolphins.

In fact, I know the perfect place to watch the games as we celebrate my World Championship.
