Huge news on the Think Three Blog with a potential leak that the date for the 2006 World's has been set for Saturday September 30, 2006 in Toronto.

If true (and I know I haven't seen anything internally suggesting a date has been set) this is indeed big news. While I think no one is surprised by the event staying in Toronto (especially with last years success) the date would be surprising and could have a huge effect on those with rigid training schedules set to peak in mid to late October.

Does anyone know who Think Three's source on this is? It's rare that anyone there would get the drop on Al or Insider X.

From what I understand the leak came from Europe, but it wasn;t me I swear, although considering how small our office is here, I guess all fingers will be pointing my way.

Darn, should have kept my mouth shut....

Hope this is true, it increases the chance I can make it over for it from around 10% for mid-Oct to 60% for late-Sep... keeping my fingers crossed! (except when playing RPS obviously)

It's not looking good. My nads are in a financial vice that is ever closing. I dont think I'm gonna be able to have any fun until January which unfortunately means I wont be able to make the trip over to Canada. Sad

Fear not Mr. Darlington, hope is not all lost.  I heard a rumour that there talk of a UK Championship event this year that will be sending the winner to the World Championships.

You did it once before, so I would suggest you begin your training.

That was awesome, I've still not put my pix up yet (though I will when I stop being so lazy). I hope they run it again this year, or better yet just send us again by default!
