I just created a myspace site so that I am finally able to post the music I have been working on for the last 7 years.  Although this doesn't have much to do with RPS, I guess lyrics from one song apply to how I approach life and RPS, "You can't give up, you cannot give in, don't ever surrender.  Someday you'll win, the future will certainly give you pleasure" (Don't Ever Surrender).  And I guess that I could loosely argue that as a Rock musician, I have a strong connection to one of the core throws.  I'm still working on converting the RPS song "Rumble in Toronto" from tape to a computer file, although I think I may have found a way and will try to post it soon.  Anyway, the link is  http://www.myspace.com/russellcohrs  if anyone wants to listen.

Hey, R Cohrs, good stuff. While not everyone is into that style of music, I enjoyed it; for me, musically, your songs bring to mind the Eels (have you heard their stuff?), especially the second and fourth songs of the four I listened to. My impressions:

'Don't Ever Surrender' - dark, powerful urgent rhythm,
'Sometimes I Wonder' - introspective, fragile beauty
'Believe in Yourself' - lighting the darkness, encouraging perseverance
'About You' - controlled anger, justified defiance; distorted sound fits with the frustration

So keep playing, Mr Cohrs... both music and RPS!  (Out of curiosity, do you find playing guitar helps to keep your fingers nimble for RPS?)

Thanks martin, I like the Eels too, especially the early album "Beautiful Freak."  I think that playing guitar has definitely built up my hand strength quite a bit over the years.  I have a really high action on my acoustic, so I would spend hours just holding down chords in order to build strength.  This definitely translates into my RPS style, and I would say playing guitar and singing for hours has helped improve my stamina.  Learning to chang chords quickly has also helped me to change throws easier, and I would say it helped improve my hand eye coordination, essential for some good RPS.
