I read that the manga goes through more games, and that there will possibly be another series featuring these.  But only a rumor though.  I  couldn't wait to find out what happened with the lottery, so I read ahead.  Don't want to be a spoiler, so I won't say anything, but yeah it would be cool to see some more Kaiji.  Thanks again for sharing this.

There are 3 seasons, but it is nearly impossible to find the 2nd or 3rd one. Also, I play e-card with king=emperor, 10=citizen, and joker=slave. It is very strategic and intuitive, therefore being the perfect training for rps, and possibly the next poker(unless rps has that title taken). E-card really should be a real game.

Correction:  spamming and insulting are not the same things.  Typically, with spam there is a commercial effort of some sort; somebody's trying to sell you something.  Insults are free.  Smiley

I keep forgetting that you're a kid, and that your sense of humor isn't fully developed yet.  Remember the old RPS saw:  "If it sounds like I'm telling you the truth, I'm probably lying; if it sounds like I'm lying, I'm probably telling you the truth."  Besides if you think "you guys are dorks" is a greivous insult, you have absolutely no idea how bad things can get.  Smiley

I'd be more than happy to play you in a match of RPS, but you'll have to wait until you're 18.  Legally, you can't sign the contract needed to establish the bout until you're 18 (I will sign an identical contract.)  Your parents could conceivably sign for you, but I don't feel that this protects me from any possible liability.  Plus, I doubt they'll shoulder my appearance fee (typically $4000, though I only charge the Walker brothers $2000 for my appearances at the Internationals, due to my longstanding relationship with them.)  The appearance fee shouldn't come out of your own pockets, but from your sponsors (you do have sponsors, don't you?) If you like, I'll let you match the appearance fee with an equal stake, and we can play a Hustler Style (race to ten) match when the time comes.

By the way, I saw your mention of RPS 101 in another thread.  I am good friends with David Lovelace, the creator of RPS 101.  I worked with him a little on the design (mostly brainstorming about what would beat what.)  The whole point of RPS 101 was not to create a workable game system.  Rather, it was intended to parody RPS variants with more than three elements.  "If three isn't good enough, why stop at five?" was David's question.  I think he succeeded, in typical hilarious David fashion, in showing that more is not always better, in RPS as well as life.  The Trinity is Absolute; you can't add to the game without taking something away.

So he feels that because he is the master, that he has the right to spam with insults. Master(even though I question using that title to describe you) Rosh, you are not the you we both know. If this comment doesn't snap you out of it, me beating you at rps might. Or maybe an admin who finds the spam you posted.

Ooh, dear. Where to start? You sound like a bit of a cocky one, srn. Get back in your box.

Two things. Firstly, he does, being one of the top posters on the board. Secondly, there is no way Rosh's comment qualifies as either spam or an insult. Get some experience on the board before you judge, yes? Spam is something that, commonsense tells us, is either trying to sell us something, advertising some other site, or having nothing to do at all with the discussion. I agree with Rosh in saying that we are, indeed, animé dorks. Rosh's comment was not spam. As for it being an insult, well... Like I say, get some experience. If you're finding it hard coping with that well-meaning jab, get prepared for demoralisation at an insane magnitude. Enough said.

The title is correct. While a World title can provide a free ticket to the state of Mastery, there are other methods to achieve such. Don't dismiss this before you know just how hard our Roshie worked to accomplish Mastery.

Don't be arrogant. While you might, technically, defeat Rosh in one or two games using chaos play or some other unskilled strategy, I am afraid to say (or am I?) that you have a long, hard road ahead of you if you wish to reach his level. I have started on this road, and are leaps and bounds ahead of you (who's making his professional debut on the 15th of May? Oh, me). So watch yourself. If you are trying to intimidate Rosh to get him, mentally, right where you want him, it won't work. You will broadcast much more than you receive.
As per your second idea, even if someone posted something really malicious and/or distateful, no one with any power would find it for months. I think Jef's gone back to sleep after his burst of energy moving boards around.

I'm onto you, srn. Be prepared to get a lot of crap from me. Mental conditioning for the abuse you will receive once you become a respected Bullboarder, you understand. Smiley

You have to wait until you're 18 to play Rosh. Sucks for you. Some of us are immune from this restriction.

Also, we will meet and have a battle. Intermediate trainee vs rank amateur.

Cheers,

Ah, why didn't sending my apprentrices unaffiliated associates unassociated affiliates out to handle my hecklers for me occur to me earlier?  That is, after all, what they're there for. Sic 'em.

Will, since you're under 18 your parents will still have to sign for your match.  Maybe just your mother.  It was awfully nice of them to back you with the appearance fee (cash or postal money order are preferred.)

Any time, Rosh, any time. I'll be your heckler bitch. Same goes for all you pros and semi-pros.

srn,
Please don't mention things like this in public. I was sending you that PM for your own information. We aren't playing a game with you. No, you didn't win anything. All I said was that you can't take everything you read on the Bullboard seriously, as much of it is not serious.

One other thing: Loosen up a bit man. The Bullboard is supposed to be fun for all. Don't start a war with other members. Although, I'm probably being rather hypocritical. I was probably much like you when I first started.

Ah, my mistake. I assumed that you had either made a typo or not looked properly at my username. I love nicknames, so go with Franklin. srn, also, is a nickname.
