Oh wow. This must be the first time in ages that Tassie's actually had a state championships. You have no idea how much this pleases me. Although I doubt I'll be allowed to compete, I'll definitely be there to spectate.

This means I will be able to watch a proper tournament here at home, before going up for the nationals. I will also get to watch the progress of the state champ. Hurrah!

Hey Darren,

Thanks for your kind offer to come and play in Adelaide.

I value and support the Aussie Nationals and I've competed in the NT, (obviously), WA, and at the nationals in the Gold Coast. Being a sister state I'd like nothing better than to be the SA champ, sort of one upping your sister but in a nice way.

I'm looking at my calender and trying to work the 2008 season and there is a lot going going on, Toronto in October, NZ around July, Svarlbard around August, Oslo September, plus Vegas, Philly, Gold Coast and Washington, and possibly, China.

It appears that a window of opportunity may open around the time of your finals and I see it as a chance to toughen up for 2008.

Best I can say is that, " All things considered, I'll be there."

There is the small question of the appearance fee, something I care nothing about. I'll leave you to sort that out with Master Roshambollah, my, apparently, self appointed, promotion officer.

That would be insanely awesome to be able to compete in the state champs. No worries about taking my dad, and I'm not a drinker, so no worries there either. Thanks a lot!

I'll call up the venue, and send an email to the rpsaustralia.com webmaster to make sure it's cool to enter.

It'd be great to see you at the finals, which I plan to go to. I wasn't sure whether "I'll be doing my best to attend every round, if I'm not competing in Norway." meant you were planning to go to the state championships as well. If so, it would also be cool to see you down here.

I try to run RPSOZ lean and prefer a fridge full of beer to an expensive storage shed full of iconic paraphernalia. God knows we have have enough of that.
