Journeyman?! After 1 tournament?

Man oh man, getting to that level took me 3 years, multiple courses (with exams) and approximatly $3000 in tuition fees which Rosh would have me deliver to some thug that I think he owed money to.

Sounds like you had a great time. Roshambo is one of the best tourneys, so you started things right.

Great showing in Street RPS, that is a big accomplishment

Jef and Max,

Yeah, it was great fun, and I learned a lot. I've taken to using some of the unique throw deliveries and stylisations employed by Rosh and Clayton, to great effect.

Glad to hear I had my international debut at the right tourney.

Thanks heaps Jef. It means a lot when board veterans offer their congratulations, as I know they're not polite enough to lie to make one feel better, and know (most of the time) what they're talking about.

Cheers,

Hey franklint,

Have you noticed how girls seem to be attracted to RPS winners?

Oh yeah,
Just a clarification.

"Veteran"

"someone who has seen long experience in.. a position.....office, etc."

Don't confuse Jef with one of us.

He's a vet in that he has been occupying the village idiots... "position....office, etc." at Trinity Square for so long that he now owns it.

You'd do well to remember who's backs you should be rubbing.

regards
custardchuk.

custardchuk,

Girls already leap at me from high trees, so I'm not too sure I'd notice much of a difference, no matter how well I do in RPS.

I see what you're trying to say, however. I was lecturing this chick in my grade at the bus stop the other day, because we got into a discussion about professional RPS. She was chuckling along because she thought I was downright odd, but in a cute kind of way (or at least I hope so). In any case, she was certainly getting some form of enjoyment out of our talk, which can only be a good thing. Straight after, a mate of mine a grade above me made the comment that "chicks love this RPS stuff", or something to that effect. Looks like he was on the same wavelength.

Should I be rubbing your backs, custardchuk? 'Cause that would kind of freak me out, doing two at once, but on the same person. I'd probably get mighty confused. However, I get the distinction now.

Cheers,
Franklint

I think you may be confusing girls with gorillas? Either that or you have some strange women where you live.

Great going in the RPS though, although beware the lure of the Street RPS scene. Tournament 'Street RPS' is to actual street RPS as tournament poker is to seedy underlit back rooms in rundown pool rooms down dark alleys.

I think desperate women is more correct. Although I don't blame them, as I am pretty irresistible.

Thanks martinburley. And thanks for the warning too. I had heard whispers that the true Street RPS scene is rather more hardcore than the domesticated version seen in tournaments, and it's good to have it confirmed by someone with absolutely no international tournament experience a seasoned professional such as yourself Wink.

First of all, don't insult the main moderator or whatever he is (don't insult any moderator) or else you may be displeased with the results. Second, if a gorilla jumps at you from a tree, can you conclude it is a girl gorilla?

Welcome, seekers

Heck, even RPS losers too. Case in point,  Graham, Doug and Urbanus, and Chuk...they are losers and all have hot girfriends/wifes
