I've been using pattern breakers on the Roshambull online fantasy RPS application. Much to my surprise, pattern breakers not only work in online fantasy RPS, they seem to work extremely well, better even than in real RPS.
Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone have any thoughts as to why this should be the case?

I've certainly noticed. They are almost unbeatable in the fake game. To understand why, I'd have to understand the fake players and I'm not there yet.
The acid test will be your Roshambull final against my new apprentice, France Anne. I recommend AGAINST using it in this match, or, at least AGAINST announcing that you are using it. You, though, are your own man.
The way I see the final is that the first one to open their mouth will lose.

As for your new apprentice Frannie Annie (aka Crickety Ricketts), she's certainly performing above expectations. However, you may have sold her down the river with your comment "The way I see the final is that the first one to open their mouth will lose." I've been having a hard time getting a fix on her with my pattern breaker; the patterns of novice players are not nearly as well-defined as those of Professionals. However, one pattern is as good as another. I figured a little Hagi Naktrah play would push some ties and force a pattern out of her. I seem to be correct thus far; unless she's using an Antipodean variant of the Urbanus Defense, I plan on taking this one home.
Besides, I already threw a game against her to give her some fake money. The way I see it, I've already bought and paid for this victory.

Congratulations Master Roshambollah.
Why am I not surprised you won the Australian leg? Technically, I guess, it makes you some sort of fake Australian Champion. It feels good, don't it?

Way too tired to think right now, but nice work, Rosh. Unfortunately I forgot to log in, and missed out on two of the legs. Both, I am convinced, I would have won.
Insert some profound comment about drawing parallels between RPS and online fantasy RPS here.
Cheers, Franklint
