Dear OPHS Varsity RPS,

As I said upon signing your guestbook, I think what you have done is great. In fact, had you let us know a little bit earlier, your group may have been nominated for the 2001 WSPOCARPS. I wish you continued success present and future.

It seems that 123kid speaks much more coherently on your board. I will say that this is no small feat to accomplish, either. It seems that a fascination with a certain ăStone Foxä will do funny things to a kid. Even get him to speak in well-worded, correctly spelled and complete sentences.

If any of your alumni happen to end up at a university in NJ, I can be of much assistance in helping to set up a new RPS group or directing said enthusiast(s) to a pre-existing one. I understand that the RPS bug is not one that leaves easily.

On a much more important topic, I have chosen my favorite nickname amongst those listed as members of the OPHS Varsity RPS squad. There were many deserving, and I salute the whole squad. However, individual honors must be extended to Ed "Quiet Storm" Rowland. I will say that P-Daddy and The Dirty Irishman were close. But ultimately, the Quiet Storm "stormed quietly" past these two.

If you ever decide to and gain approval for an official Society-based event, I may be able to pop up to Orchard Park, should it be approved by Society guidelines and transportation provided. I also give several lectures a year on varying topics. Please contact my office for details.

Keep up the good work. We're all quite proud of you.

Sincerely,

C. Urbanus
