Hey man, I really appreciate your open mind on my comments. You're mature enough to understand that they weren't meant to offend, and I meant nothing by it. I'm glad you're not treating as custardchuk did, but I understand his frustration. If I were serious about something that most people we completely bewildered by, I might act in a similar fashion; no hard feelings there.
However, this does not change my opinion. I do still think it is a joke/satire site, based on a few things. I didn't base it by it's subject matter alone...I've been reading the content thoroughly, and some of the things that are highly questionable. For instance, the posters in the media archive, while impressive, seem unbelievable. Another would be the "Think Three" online magazine section. Some of the covers boggle my mind...and the guy's shirt for December 2001 looks poorly hoaxed. Finally, the 2002: Year of the Rock ceremony coverage is a little bit too outlandish for me to believe. Hopefully you understand my opinions, though. So far I haven't seen any "Rock" hard evidence to convince me opposite what I think.
Now, in my previous post, let me point to my subtle statement: "If I'm wrong, however, so be it." That statement still stands. Frankly, I'd enjoy being proved wrong! I'd like to see some pictures of custardchuk's RPS trophy case, for instance. It's all up to you guys, of course; plus I'm sure it'd be a nice addition to the site!
I've also read through many of the posts, and have come to the conclusion that there are many mature and intelligent people at this site/bull board, which is like finding a needle in a haystack on the Internet these days. Be this site joke or serious, that doesn't change the fact that there's a good group of people who hang out here.
This site has earned a place in my bookmarks, and I'm definately going to recommend it to all my real and online friends...I'll let them draw their own conclusions. Chao for now.
