Disagree completely. The game is not solely mental in nature, but has a major physical component as well (as Big Joe's lackluster performance at the Baja regionals so aptly illustrates).
I firmly believe that watching for the reveal could just as easily be expressed as "watching for the rookie mistake". If you reveal your throw early it is a fairly simple thing to remedy with some hard practice, but choosing not to fix this error is begging for the ole "snip-smash-wrap".
