I teach my apprentices precisely the same.
Whilst this this allows trainees a strategy to get to competition level, it it is of no use against professional players.
I'm still waiting for the day one of my girls leads with paper,and holds. It hasnt happened yet.
I guess that's why we're the masters and they're the apprentices.
