Oh, obviously. Those of us who have been around the rock a time or two on this board can usually tell from subtle contextual clues, much as you yourself use "vocal cues" in determining authenticity. Among the more obvious flaws in the post:

-his name did not have the blue highlighting indicating email address that yours usually does (except for this post...curious...)
-lack of capitalization
-lack of punctuation
-use of 2 for "to" (hardly seemed your style)
-the question posed hardly seemed in keeping with your journalistic impartiality

Most people on this board are wise to this sort of thing, and know what to look for. I'd imagine one or two of them might even use the above tactics to successfully post messages under other names, thought I have no direct evidence of this.

By the way, just as a friendly warning, you're in danger of becoming a regular around here. You've already strayed a bit in your subject matter from your original purposes in posting to this board. Though of course you're welcome, and perhaps Arbiter could even find a position in the Media Brigade, I just thought I should let you know.
