: Not especially scientific, but I recall Hunter Robson using a broadly similar strategy (to paper10/expression 4) in an exhibition match at the Pall Mall Reform club in 1993. Of course, Robson's trademark woolly balaklava (sp?) and eye patch obscured much of the facial expression. But he still managed to trounce Brigadier R J Watson to zip.

Our methodology was modelled on the world famous Australian scientific organisation, CSIRO's most lauded research project "Observations of Bulls, Cows and their Offspring" first published 1963 and still in progress.

Generally, the project tracked the interrelations between Bulls ,Cows and the offspring that resulted.ie; Bull/Bull, Bull,Cow, and Cow/Cow.
In 1973 Professor Malcolm Shrike, in a groundbreaking research project, added White, Black, Black and White and Other to the accepted standards and cattle breeding has never looked back.
Our model incorporated a third possibility at Level One and has received high praise in Scientific circles and received a highly commended at the Coca Cola Australian Awards for Scientific Endeavour, Statistics.
CSIRO is looking at ways to incorporate our model into their " Cows, Bulls" research.
We were also praised for having receipts for almost all accommodation and travel expenses, including beverages, in total almost 90% of our grant.
