: That's a thin margin. I'm a little concerned about those six abstainers.

We consider that a good margin based on the theory around here any majority is a good majority.

: That's interesting. Do they have any idea why RPSOZ is sending a spokesperson?

Sort of.

: : It is our intention to recommend that the kid sign an exclusivity contract with Arbiter. The terms of that contract will be rigourous.

Ill send you a copy after the meeting.

:but an exclusivity contract without money is suspicious and unlikely to happen

A contract without money is not much of a contract. It makes it difficult to sue to recover costs if there are none.

: Can you do that with the financial mess you're in?

Our credit is still good.

: Ugh. I didn't know that when I wrote it. I was of the opinion that Ray Plumb wasn't reading this board anymore.

I dont think it is the board. I think it is simply the small town gossip network.

.

: That may not be enough. An exclusivity deal is a contract of sorts. The family will agree, in binding legal form, to provide certain kinds of services to me and my office alone. However, it is up to the family to abide by it. One of the most irritating experiences in media journalism is having a flood of reporters coming to your door asking for interviews you can't give or looking for loopholes in your agreement. I don't know Australian law (or any nation's law, for that matter; I've never claimed to be a lawyer), but is there any way we can toss a restraining order of some kind into the mix? Something general that will prevent other reporters from pestering the family?

I am open to all suggestions. Could you get an opinion from the legal department. Do we have a legal department. Maybe Urbanus knows someone.

: Thanks, Custardchuk. Make it clear that we will all respect the family's decision. At least all of us at the World RPS Society.

Appreciated. Gotta go now I have a plane to catch.
