OPEN LETTER-WRPSS PARKING ENFORCEMENT DIVISION
Dear Madams and Sirs:
I have been a member in good standing of the WRPSS for over 4 months now. I am also serving in my capacity as Director of Outreach, Fund-Raising and Spiritual Concerns. Even considering my long history with the world of RPS, this has been a relatively large commitment for such a new member.
With that in mind, it is unclear to me why my parking space outside the OFRSC office is seldom, if ever, available.
I am here referring only to the Washington DC Home Office for OFRSC. As you know, most "hub" offices of the WRPSS maintain "courtesy offices" for most of the major organizations within the WRPSS, even if said courtesy office is little more than a broom closet with a desk. I have made use of such offices many times during my travels. As the nature of these offices are to accommodate WRPSS members while travelling or on WRPSS business, I do not object to local members using the reserved spaces when those to whom they are reserved are not present. I did not get upset when I visited Arbiter to do some Media work, and had to park over 5 blocks away from the office. Likewise, when preparing a study with C. Urbanus ("Paramilitary Occult Organizations and thee Use ov RPS as Means ov Maintaining CONTROL") I was not opposed to leaving my car behind and using public transportation.
However, I take issue with the fact that 3 out of 5 days in a typical week, I am unable to park in my own designated space.
I have brought this issue up with whoever answers the PED main phone line, and nothing has been done. Do not point out to me, as they did, that due to my typical arrival times (late morning, early afternoon) it is assumed that I am out sick, or on vacation, and someone else needed the space. Also, any requests that I make do with other available parking will fall on deaf ears. I object to having to park my car at the other end of the lot, when my reserved space is right in front of my office.
Perhaps most puzzling of all is the fact that when usurpers have appropriated my parking space, and I have requested that they be towed or ticketed, nothing happens. Many times, there have been cars parked in my space that clearly lack the WRPSS Parking Permit. It is my belief that these cars belong to students, local office workers, or other riff-raff. Yet, they are not taken to task for their actions. This, when I myself received a ticket not one month ago for parking 1" over the yellow line in my own parking space?
The situation is just short of being downright intolerable. I call on anyone in PED who can rectify the situation to do so at once, and without delay. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Master Roshambollah

And Spiritual Concerns
