Dear Matt Alexander,
: First, I bring up a legitimate new paradigm shift that obviously offends some of the traditionalists
It's not hard to offend the traditionalists. I should know, as I'm a staunch traditionalist. Not to mention quite offended. But you are entitled to your own opinion. I'll gladly listen to your arguments, although I don't agree.
: Whom among us will call a spade a spade and take rpse to the next level of entertainment and strategy?
I believe this would actually be taking RPS to the next level.
: I suggest (as a throw) to throw both hands (yes, BOTH!!) in front of you with palms facing each other and the fingers all randomly moving about as if they were conjuring up something from a crystal ball.
These are called 'spirit fingers' (see the movie "Bring It On"). I don't think it would be proper to steal a cheerleading move for RPS. It would undoubtedly damage the integrity of both sports. Or maybe it would help bridge some gaps between the two. The RPS team and the cheerleaders didn't really mix well. At least not at my high school.
: haunting and otherwise humiliating to the opponent? yes.
I would think it would be the opposite. I wouldn't be able to look at my opponent if the only way I could defeat him was to invoke Erosion. I would, however, gladly take my spot in the Winner's Circle afterwards.
But good luck...like Rosh said, the TTC is going to love this. They like any move where they get to flail around a bit.
Sincerely,
C. Urbanus
