But Seriously...(Re: T-Shirts)

It occured to me that in addition to the (perhaps) humorous comments by myself, Arbiter and Mr. Gaultier above, (except for the bit about the wifebeaters...I was serious about that) that some serious responses should be included as well.

I think the design concept is great...it DEFINITELY fits in with my vote on the main WRPSS page (Question: Would you be interested in WRPSS T-Shirts? A: "Only if they are exceedingly cool". Some other points:

-I dig that three possible designs would be available, thus offering choices for consumers.
-I appreciate that the Triple Gambits are the Gambits represented. Though they are, at this point, Classic (some would say "old") Gambits, their strategic possibilities remain sound, and I predict a resurgence in their usage in the upcoming tournament season, combined with other strategies (nesting, indeterminacy, etc.)
-The quotes about each throw (for the Avalanche, "subtle, yet aggressive) will no doubt amuse and interest non-WRPSS members, providing each of us with tremendous opportunities for Outreach.
-With my (supposedly) imminent resignation approval (still probably around the end of the year, maybe the beginning of the next) and the subsequent disolution of the Office of Outreach, Fund Raising and Spiritual Concerns, the inclusion of T-Shirt sales on this site will aid in this transition. I have mentioned previously that Fund Raising responsibilites will return to individual offices on the micro level, and to the Web Design Committee on the macro level.

Two other comments:
-I am sure that the Three Paper Gambit will be referenced as "The Bureaucrat" instead of the classic "Confetti". Mind you, I do not have a problem with the name "Bureaucrat"; it is certainly more humorous than "Confetti". The problem I have is with revisionist history, pretending that the Three Paper Gambit was never called Confetti. Those of us who have been around "for a minute" will no doubt continue to use the name Confetti. A minor point, but one worth mentioning.
-Another idea for T-Shirt designs (again, fitting in with the "exceedingly cool" concept) would be a Japanese Animation style front, preferably in color, with two antagonists rushing each other, typical "motion lines" behind them, as each thrusts out their chosen throw. I, for one, do not have the artistic ability necessary for such a design, so can not actively propose it (plus, color costs $). A project, perhaps, for quieter times.

In any case, I look forward to this next frontier of RPS marketing with something approaching eagerness.
